The Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP) provides transportation to almost any service that Medical Assistance pays for, including physicians, dentists, health clinics, pharmacies, dialysis clinics, mental health centers, and drug and alcohol clinics. In Philadelphia, rides are arranged through Modivcare. MATP does not include emergency or ambulance transportation, or transportation to non-medical services.

- People enrolled in Medical Assistance (Medicaid). The trip must be to a service that Medical Assistance pays for.
- How to apply
- In Philadelphia, call Modivcare at 877-835-7436 for transportation to appointments for people with Medicaid. If a ride does not meet its pickup timelines, call 877-835-7420 to report the problem and arrange another ride.
